GIFT AID

This scheme allows Fairford and District U3A, as a registered charity, to re-claim income and/or capital gains tax on the subscriptions paid by those members who pay one or more of these taxes. If you are able to, please tick the box on the renewals form "Tick if you pay UK tax and you wish U3A to claim Gift Aid on your subscription (if applicable)" as it provides us with a significant increase to our income without affecting what you pay. For couples, the whole joint subscription is eligible but the person(s) who pays the tax should "Tick" this form.

DATA PROTECTION and PRIVACY POLICY

Your personal details will be held on a secure database and will be used solely for the purposes of administration and the distribution of U3A communications. Your personal details will never be supplied to an outside agency or party other than for you to receive Third Age Matters magazine by direct mail and for us to claim Gift Age via HMRC Gift Aid Scheme.

Information regarding Gift Aid donations is retained for as long as required under HMRC regulations; other data is retained for one year after a member resigns.
