Meetings: 4th Thursday at 10.30am
Venue: group leader's house

The group started in December 2015 in response to the re-issue of Richard Hamer's book A Choice of Anglo-Saxon Verse published by Faber. The Anglo-Saxon (or Old English) text is printed opposite the translation. So far we have concentrated on the translation and have not paid very much attention to the original language but we have made two museum visits to look at local Anglo-Saxon finds.
